Writeflow was created based on our own experiences managing teams and companies. Over time our frustration grew with how much effort we spent chasing cumbersome but trivial tasks: Getting items added to meeting agendas on time, making sure OKR updates were completed, chasing everybody 15 minutes before the deadline to update the all-hands presentation, burning the midnight oil hunting input from the team for the monthly board report.
We started dreaming about new ways of automating all the many document-centric workflows that constituted such an important part of how we work. As we dug deeper it dawned on us that not only could we make work around documents dramatically more efficient, but armed with Writeflow we could rewire our organizations by expanding what we used documents for! So many meetings can be replaced with async writing, not only does it clear up our calendars, and get us out of video meetings, but more importantly it forces us to think and reflect—you can't write something down until you've thought it through.
Only a few times per decade does a new way of collaboration come along, we're crazy enough to believe Writeflow is one of those. We'd be thrilled if you would try it out and tell us what you think.
